Easier Imaging Piece

While going through some old stuff I recently came across this. I made this about two years ago and I have always liked it. When the economy first took a dive and you couldn’t turn on the television without seeing the dow figures on the screen, it seemed like everything was doom and gloom. In an attemtp to be a little more positive I made this.

The new Sony Vegas came out just over a week ago and so far the reviews I’ve seen of it have been pretty positive (the few there have been). Saying this will probably get me bashed by pro-tools lovers, but for any kind of radio imaging I feel that Vegas is by far the best option as far as DAW’s go.
I also think that for simple and quick video editing, with a slight edge over the typical consumer grade products, Vegas is amazing. Don’t get me wrong, if you have an extreme compositing load to knock out, definitely fire up After Effects (the new CS5 rocks!) or your choice of a favorite compositor. But for a quick 10-20 sec pre-roll, or long form program edits on a budget this program will get the job done. I think the new 3d feature may be cool, but I’m just not sure yet if it will have any real value on an everyday basis. HERE is the site to see whats new.
Twitter Design

I had never really stayed up to date with my twitter background and had never really taken the time to customize it. Then, when I finally decide its time, twitter has to go and change it on me. Luckily Christina Warren has a great HOW-TO that I think I should be able to follow. Maybe it’ll be of use to you as well, check it out.

After years of being to told to create a site with my name and stick with it I have finally decided its time. Here it is. Its up and its running, well… mostly anyway
